problem on startup

i dont know what to do!! whenever i start my windows, it as soon as it comes to the desktop it just hangs up. if i take my cursor to the taskbar, then there is a wait sign....at this point i open the task manager and then i end the explorer.exe process and then start it again....it is fine then but still i am then dealing with s/w troubles......i cant install daemon tools...im unable to install office....
ive formatted my machine 4 times but still it prevails??

If it happens when you reformat and reinstall Windows, then it sounds like theres a corrupt/missing file on the Windows install CD.

Is it an actual legit version of Windows, or is it a burned/downloaded copy?

it is a burned copy of windows downloaded from torrent sites....

ive used this cd many times before but this did not happen before!!! can the disk go corrupt or can it be any hardware trouble??
