Problem picking up wireless adaptor after reinstalling windows

Hi, :inh:
I recently reinstalled windows xp on my avent 7082 laptop, and now the os won't pick up the wireless adaptop, the drivers have all been installed as before but the computer is not picking up the adaptor in the device manager

go back into device manager and refresh the hardware list and see if it refreshes and picks it up. if so then install the drivers for it. restart after and then connect
