problem using dvd fab decrypter plantinum on my computer

ive made back ups of dvds before ,and they have worked, but i tried this program because its newer and the one I was using is more or less out of date, but when i open the outputted files , all i get is a pixelated image with lots of green squares

and the sound ski[ps , maybe this program doesnt worko ?

ive split the dvd in half , and put both halves on my computer aqnd when i try to view them in powerdvd this is what happens

i think i figured it out , it doesnt output files wehre you can viewthem like older programs, it goes to vob instead of mpg ,

i answered my own question lol , oh well if anyone else comes along and sees this maybe it will help them
