could some one please help when im using vlc player to watch a video file im just getting the audio

bin/cue files they played on my old computer no problem with vlc player

chances are you dont have the right codecs.
try this:
google for cole2k
i cant be bothered to post the link, but its first on the list.
i swear by these codecs, they're free and dont have a gay seperate player, they just act as plugins for whatever player you use.
no 3rd party anything, its just a little hard to set up sometimes, which is why theres a helpful 'standard install' option
