I got an HD Flip Video camera for Christmas and when I try to watch the raw MP4 files in 1280x720 HD resolution, the video is very choppy. It seems to have the same problems whether I'm viewing them from my hard drive in WMP or watching them on YouTube. Non-HD videos play fine.
When I watch the same video file on my laptop (newer), it plays fine, but on my desktop, it's very choppy. My desktop has a Pentium D, 2.8 GHz and I was originally using the video is built into the motherboard. It now has 3 Gig of RAM.
I even bought a PX8400GS-ES video card to try and that hasn't helped any.
Can anybody suggest what's causing this choppy playback?
Thanks in advance,
Rusty
