problem viewing vids, "unresponsive script"

I have an HP dv7 notebook and i'm having trouble viewing youtube videos. everything becomes choppy and sometimes firefox freezes. it started yesterday. I tried updating adobe flash and firefox, then i did a disc cleanup, defrag and a norton scan. so far nothing has worked. sometimes a "warning: unresponsive script" window pops up with this link:

can anyone give me an idea of whats going on? thanks

Intel Core 2.30GHz CPU
8.00 gigs of ram

Try using Pale moon and installing flash player through pale moon. If it works then you would be the second person within a couple weeks having the issue with firefox. Pale moon is a better version of firefox, faster then regular firefox.
