hello every body.when i want update my norton anti virues i get this message with the heading "cohupdt.exe-lllegal system dll relocation"The message goes on to say, "The sytem DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because DLL C:\Windows\System32\SHELL32.dll occupied an address range reserved for the Windows system DLL. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL".

Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing this?

haha well most of us around here are going to say get rid of norton and use avg or avast which are free and do a better job but if you must have that i would say reinstall your liveupdate it appears to be corrupt.

oh the contrary i have tested this theory in my virtual machine i went to a site i knew had spyware and viruses avg and avast both stopped and said no and norton let me go right in and sure enough that virtual machine was infested 10 minutes later and it coudlnt remove them. I'm just saying from my personal testing and expirence and use i would never ever pay for the resource hog of norton when the free ones have done a better job now i'm just one person but i'm sure others would back me saying the free ones do just as good if not better a job and dont hog your system resources..
