Hi there. I have a 4 year old who has had a cheap unbranded tablet since her 3rd birthday. So u see I can't tell you the make. Recently we discovered it wouldn't turn on. So upon charging it it still won't turn on. After removing the silicone protector there appears to be coke spilled on it a small amount. The next time we plugged it in it now makes almost screeching electrical noises from the speaker like a bee or a fly. When u first plug it in it makes the same buzz or screech but in protest making me jerk my hand away. Device still wnt turn pon and this morning made the noise for 3 minutes and tonight for roughly 4 minutes after trryinf to plug it in. Its currently pluggers in via USB port

Is it fixable.
We are to fly from mexico to england tomorrow. Will it be safe in the hold? So we can get it looked at once home x

More cost effective to just replace it then hassle fixing it. Repair cost is usually more than those cheap tablets anyway, particularly if something was spilled on it.

Is it safe to fly it home though? Want to try it with its own power supply and in UK outlet?

I'd just chuck it. You should be able to use a phone charger that would give the same usb voltage unless they were monsters and used a barrel style port.

Kindle fire are like $35.

Yeah as beers said we have been using a standard USB charger for a Samsung s7. Thanks for the advise guys.
