Problem with Computer Monitor

Hi Everyone,

I am having problems with my computer monitor. It keeps flickering and going a strange orange colour over all the screen.

All the cables are plugged in properly with no imperfections.

Any help would be grateful,

Most likely its the monitor itself. You can try plugging it in to a different computer and see what happens though. If it does it on that one, then its a bad monitor. If not, then you have a bad video card on the pc its attached to now.

As John says, if you can hook it up to another computer and the same thing happens, then the monitor itself is bad. This is generally not a cost-effective repair item, unfortunately, so you will want to shop for a new monitor.

If the monitor does not mess up with a different computer, then you have a graphic problem with the primary machine.
