Problem with desktop. And help is appreciated.

I have a problem with my sound and i recently noticed it also has an effect on my graphics. Every 30 seconds - 1 minute my sound lags up a little bit and my graphics do the same. I've tried re-installing drivers and such however it doesn't work. Any suggestions to other things i should try? Thanks.

(Sorry i couldn't describe the problem better.)
 
Had you installed or removed any software just before this started happening?

Did you make any changes to your system just before this started happening?
 
Instead of reinstalling the drivers, try upgrading them. Download them from the manufacturer's site. The newer versions usually have bug fixes in them.
