T TCP2013 New Member Oct 7, 2012 #1 the Multi- DVD PLAYER for my AcerApire Laptop will no longer copy and burn DVD movies (4.7gigs) but it will copy information to CD'S (700MB) what could be the reason's and fix for this problem.

johnb35 Administrator Staff member Oct 7, 2012 #2 Buy a new drive. There are 2 eyes in the drive. One for cd and one for DVD. The DVD eye has failed.
