Problem with Firefox, uninstallation and running Nero

Hello all!
I have been experiencing a few problems on my laptop for like 2 days(since i realised). Here are the list of problems I am experiencing:

Whenever I double click to open my Firefox it shows that its being loaded(the round revolving blue circular thing in Vista), then it just disappears and wont open.

Another is I tried opening Nero and it gave me an error message "Runtime Error! c:\program file(x86)\nero\nero8\nerohome\nerohome.exe This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact application support team for more assistace." and when i hit ok the nero would stop working and i have to close it...

and the recent one i just experienced was while trying to uninstall nero.. it gave me an error which said "could not access network location %APPDATA%\"

Also, these are the problems experienced when running the adiministration account, when I do it through the guest account Firefox is accessible!
I tried searching for the solution over the internet but i could not figure that out...

i have just realized that its something wrong with my user account and i am also getting an error message while opening word and the error message says something like "autocorrect file could not be saved..." anyone having any idea on how to solve these issues?
any help would be deeply appreciated!
 
Ive never used Vista but one thing ya might want to do is make sure you have a backup profile with admin rights 1st. could be a backdoor if needed.

goto explorer and right click drive c: then properties. look for a tool tab and there should be an option to check for errors.

at least this is a start.
 
Thanks for the idea bro, but it did not fix the problem... i did some research over the internet regarding the word error and some articles said it was because the folder named office wasnt created in application data blah blah... then i tried to do it manually, and when i went to the users folder i could no longer the see that account, where I am having all these problems... i tried it by logging into the different account, it didnt appear...
Also, when I have to use acrobat reader from that account, the reader closes...
Any idea whats going on??
