Problem with Hard Drive and Motherboard

I just upgraded my Motherboard an cpu.
my motherboard is a Foxconn K8S755A-6ELRS Socket 754 SiS 755 ATX AMD Motherboard. My old one didn't support SATA so I got a raid card. Now this new board has the SATA on it. But for some reason it won't run my SATA hd. When I boot up it starts up normally, but when it comes to the loading screen for windows, it freezes goes to a Blue screen really fast then restarts itself. Any ideas?

Yes. I just want to use what's already on there. I don't wanna have to do a new install, because I have alot of stuff on this hard drive I can't lose. Programs, Graphics etc. Any other ideas?

If you put in new hardware, it's allways best to put a clean install of XP on there as it will help it recognize the new hardware and stop any problems, like the one you're seeing now.

I think you'll have to put XP on it, but if you want to get stuff off first, put in somebody else's computer and put it as the slave drive and copy any of the stuff you want.

Make sense?

Try to boot into safe mode, if you can, when in safe mode uninstall all the drivers for your old motherboard, then try to boot up. If it boots then install all your new drivers. If not you can do a repair install. Boot to the cd, go through the loading of files, dont use the first repair, wait till you get to the page that shows your harddrive and gives you the option to install or repair, then pick repair!

Alright...My bright idea is. I completely copied my SATA to my IDE using Acronis. From here I'm going to install all my MOBO Drivers + SATA Drivers. Then Copy it back to the SATA drive...Think that'd work Guys?
