Problem With Home Built PC

Hey all i am new here and like whats i see. Anyways I have built a home Gaming rig. Well it ran quick fast smooth and great. But i was in the middle of playing Everquest 2 and the monitor shut off on me still had hard drive activity but no picture. The system boots up as far as i can tell...(all Lights come on Motherboard Activity light turns from red to green) But no Picture and no sounds. I know for a fact that the Video Card is good (I am actually using it now in my beefed up dell lol) I just wondering if anyone could give me any advice or knows what the problem is??? My guess is i fried the CPU, But im not to sure Please Help.

huh, I don't think your system would be able to boot without a CPU....You should check your RAM or something, that might be the case.
 
I know that it would not be able to boot but the Motherboard will still go active. All the other parts Except the Motherboard & Cpu are now in a dell that i bought and beefed up.

I dont see how the using the other Video port would do anything??? I am currently using the video card in this pc.
 
I guess no one knows lol. Or its just not a hot topic. Oh well im building a new one, but would be nice to know the problem for the future if any one does know.
