hello, ive encountered a problem with by keyboard since about 4 days ago, whenever I press the shift key on the left side, it also presses tab, and when i press the shift key on the right side it also presses Z. Ive also noticed whenever I press the 1 key it opens windows media player. any idea what this could be?

Is this a laptop or a desktop? Either way it's likely a short in the keyboard, and either way it's probably best to just replace the keyboard. If it's a laptop it's a bit more difficult, obviously, but not terribly so.
