Problem with my ATI 9800 PRO

MY ATI 9800 Pro Card has been working for the past 2 years.

Recently, I noticed green dots all over my lcd screen. I simply rebooted my computer and the same dots appear. I go into the internet or desktop and the dots are there still. I can still make out what's on the screen. It almost looks like dead pixels. I tried reconnecting the monitor to the card, same issue. I hooked up the monitor to another computer and it works fine.
So I know it's not the monitor.

I uninstalled and installed the latest ATI driver. The card works for about 10 minutes until the dots appear.

I noticed in the ATI instructions, they recommend a 300 Watt power supply. Mine is only 200 Watts. Could this be the problem where I need a new power supply. Or is my ATI card been fried?

Chances are its your card is overheating. Did you check to see if the fan is stuck on anything? Do you know the temperature of the core? Also have you done any overlcocking?

I have never over clocked my video card.

I checked the fan and it's fine.

The video card does feel very hot though!

check for dust in the Heatsink.
if you checked that, and the dots are still there, look if the heatsink on the Card is still properly in place. :) because this definately sounds like overheating to me.
