Got the whole thing done and started up.. plugged in the monitor and it just comes up with "no signal input" tried with both styles of monitor cable..
Completely lost.. the fans are spinning on the card.. it has power.

double checked the monitor by using my laptop with it and it worked fine

the HDD is plugged into sata 1. and the Cd ROM is plugged into sata 2.

everything is definately hooked up and powered.

just tried using both standard and dvi cables at the same time and changing "modes" on the monitor. still nothing.. and tried them 1 at a time aswell. nothing.

Just tried it with my tv. tv says the same thing and then the red power button flashes on and off until i put it back to TV mode.
Please help soon guys

just tried with the HDMI cable on the tv. "no signal input" :-(

Did you use the brass standoffs between the case and motherboard? Try a different video card as well.

Got the 8 pin CPU power connector and the video card PCIe power connector plugged in? Did you put all the standoffs under the board in the right places?

oh yeah the gold things lol.. yeah.. in every slot.

yeah i put them all in the right slots.. there was 6 and i used 6 and the screws went in perfectly

"Got the 8 pin CPU power connector"

What do you mean? my cpu is hooked to the motherboard via a little tiny cable. but thats from the heatsink..

No, he meant there is an 8 pin cpu power connector from the power supply that needs to be plugged into the motherboard top left to power the cpu.

GOT IT OMG I FORGOT THAT ONE lol

Well hey i didnt have that plugged in.. the computer wasnt doing anything..

now i have that plugged in.. its loading and windows is coming up!!! thankyou guys!!

my only issue is now i have that plugged in the case fans and lights have stopped working.. is that a temporary thing?

Yeah, its above and to the left of the CPU socket behind the mosfet cooler. A white 8 pin connector. It wont fire up without it plugged in.

How do you have the case fans plugged in, plus what case is it, cant remember?

yeah like i say i got that and its "Expanding Windows files" which is taking forever is that normal??
its at 0% has been for 3 - 4 minutes.

but the case fans and lights have stopped now;

Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to expand the files. Recheck the power connections for the case fans and lights.

Are the case fans plugged into the power supply or the mobo connections? Like i said before, double check the power connections. Maybe a bad molex connector from the power supply?

yup just rechecked power connections and they are all good.
when i didnt have the power plugged into the cpu - motherboard thing, they worked fine.. now i have it plugged in and the computer is running. the case stuff has shut down.. these are not aftermarket fans or lights.. everything came with the case pre-installed. any ideas? or should i just wait til windows is done and see if they come back on or something

all the fans/lights are connected to the control panel on top of the tower.. there is one sata cable coming down from the top of the tower inside the case.. that is hooked to the mainboard.

Do not be moving wires around while the pc is on, wait until its off. Are the lights and fans plugged into just one molex connector? If so, try plugging them into a different one.

yeah just did that lol thought i would try a different 4-pin.. that worked everything is on and running.. let you guys know how this goes..then ill post all my pics :-)

ok windows is in... what order should i be installing drivers in? im at my desktop screen now and its done loading everything.

Insert the motherboard cd and it should have an option to install all the drivers at once.

trying to install the sapphire GPU drivers but the accept button is below my screen and i cant change my resolution or drag the window any further up.. any ideas? lol i cant install my drivers with this setup lmao
