So I bought all the components for my new computer build. The main parts were an ECS G31T-M motherboard, an intel E8400 Core 2 Duo processor, one stick of 2gb Patriot DDR2-800 RAM, and the case was a Raidmax ARES w/450w PSU. I put everything together inside the case, plugged it in and hit the power button. The CPU fan started spinning, but not as fast as I think it should, and the case fan spun VERY slowly but the HDD wouldn't poweron, nor was there any video being fed to the monitor.
My suspicion is that the psu that came with the case is bad and it just isn't supplying the proper amount of power to turn everything on. So I returned the case and bought an Apevia X-QPACK2 with 500w PSU and I exchanged the motherboard just in case. Now is there anything else I could be missing here?
Thanks in advance for the help.
