Problem with new DVD RW drive

It's a HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4163B (an LG model).

It installed and worked fine yesterday, but after my computer crashed when I tried to install something else, it stopped working. I had a look in the Device Manager, and it had the message:

'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39).'

Help would be appreciated, as I can't do anything without a cd drive.
 
if it comes with a driver.. uninstall whats on ur pc now and reinstalling the software. if not, do what matrixevo suggested..

if you know the program you installed that caused it to crash.. make sure you removed everything including temp files, folders, registry keys, and any other thing it may have installed bundled in also.
