and thats the problem, see the two vga and hdmi slot on the back of the card. this is what they are supposed to be plugged into from this to the tv. just follow the tv cable and remove from the back of the motherboard and then re-instert into the vga or hdmi slot on the graphics card and the problem will be sorted.

as you can see the large blue vga cable on the motherboard?, move that to the gpu connector about 6 inches below where the card sits on the rail.

id say swap for a hdmi cable too, vga cables are not the best. if you want 1080p etc.

Even made you a picture, was bored but will help you if you do not understand.

Okay, I had a spare HDMI cable laying around and I'm using it now, and it's working. It's using the GPU and BF3 is running at a good 80 fps at ultra 1080p. Thank you so much

Lol yeah hook up your VGA/DVI/HDMI (whatever you use) to your GPU and then into your monitor and it should utilize your GPU and not your on-board graphics
