Hey guys, I have set up my personal server, and had the idea of turning it into a public HTTP server, so that way if theres a file i need i can download it from my server, with out having those cheap-o on-line file storage sites. SO, I have configured everything properly on my server, and have tested it a few times over my LAN, BUT when i go to the Internet browser and type in the Public IP address of my server, it brings me to the login fields to my modem, so i type in the correct credentials to my modem and it of course grants me access to my modem configuration settings, EVEN THOUGH i have correctly set up port forwarding on my modem, trying these ports 80, 8080, and 8008. But every time i access that public server IP address, with any of those ports it brings me to my modem configuration page. Although its not extremely important that i get it to work i Just want to know whats going on here. So in short its sending me to the modem configuration page, but i want it to forward me to the servers website.
Any help, or advice is welcome!
