Problem with powerline connection

Hey guys. I've got a bit of a problem. We have powerline adapters in the house which transfer the ethernet signals onto the powerline, and then demodulate it somewhere else along the line, effectively using the power network in your house as a data network.

Now, every day, at around 18:00, the internet connection on a remote computer (that is to say not mine, which is directly wired to the modem) stops working for reasonsI cannot explain. I naturally turn to you and ask you if you know what could be causing the problem? I have sent an email to the tech support of the company who makes these adapters (devolo) and am waiting for their answer.

So one of the computers which connects to the internet via these adaptors if loosing connection at 1800? For how long? Are there logs for these devices?

I am betting that your connection "renews" every 24 hours. You should be able to set it to never renew, or renew once a week.

It sounds like when it renews it is not getting the signal for whatever reason.

Do you have a web based setup page for you to change settings for your connections? If so then you should be able to change your settings from there.
