Problem with updating video card driver

Hello, I'm new to these forums and I only registered here to get help with this.

So I have this game called NoLimits Rollercoaster simulator, and when I play it, the fps is slow and at the menu it says "Warning: No 3D Hardware acceleration found!"

The problem is that my video card driver is out of date (2006) and I can't update it. I have a Vista 32-bit.
I correctly downloaded and installed a new video driver from AMD's website, and after restarting my comp the date is still out of date and I cannot play the game. So I tried asking from ATI (http://emailcustomercare.amd.com) and they gave me this e-mail:

"This is an automatically generated email, please do not reply.

Dear Customer,

I repeated asking from ATI and still they gave me the same e-mail.

So how can I update my video card driver?

wrong date is a indication of a low bios battery. Might want to get that.
then reboot. set the date and try again. take the side cover off. unplug power cord. its likely a 2032 button battery. any drug store will have it. or other store.

okay thanks for the message that you've been giving to us.

No need to be rude...

Well I got some info about my computer:

BIOS: Ver 1.00PARTTBL
Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50 (2
CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory: 2046MB RAM

Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.

Driver Date/Size: 11/2/2006 11:46:02, 2413568 bytes

So if theres no other solution but replacing important parts of my computer then I'll just leave it there, because i'm not so good at computers and who knows if i do it wrong. But I'd be happy to now if there is another solution.

Thanks

The only Opengl issues I am finding are with GNU/linux machines, because of a driver issue. Are you sure you have the right driver? Link just in case :

http://support.amd.com/us/psearch/P...PU+Download+Detail&ostype=&keywords=&items=20

just fill out, make sure its the mobility and not the desktop one. But I still don't understand what you mean by "the date is still out of date". As I said, this is most likely a driver issue, if you can describe the problem more I will try and help you.
