Problem with X300

My friend got a new Media Center PC for christmas and it didnt come with a video card. He wanted to watch stuff through S-Video so I told him to buy an Radeon X300. When he loads the software (Catalyst Center), everything works just fine. Whenever he restarts his computer, it freezes up before windows completely loads. Has anyone ever had this problem? Ive built a couple of computers and have never had a video card problem like this. Is Windows MC picky with graphics cards or anything? Any help would be appreciated.

well, whats the problem exactly? just freezes and doesnt work anymore? or is slow on startup or what?
i mean, freezing can be caused by viruses or a hot processor...
describe more clearly your troubles! lol

Well, I said it freezez before windows completely loads, and It worked before he put the card in. No worries though, when I went over there I went into the bios and fixed it, the video was still set on integrated. Thanks though!
