problem...

I have a similar problem on my Celeron - 370 socket board. I found a small chart printed on the board that shows jumper locations for different FSB speeds but I can't figure out how to change them. Is it dip switches, jumpers, software controlled or is it all automatic?

My board has a Intel 810 chipset, which according to the Intel web site this chipset does not support automatic FSB speed selection. So, there must be another way.

wanna o/c my cpu but can't find any jumpers on the board and no support in the bios...wtf they have my shi* locked lol
You have a Compaq an an older compaq at that ... no OCing happening

if its not in bios then you need to get into the DIPs and jumpers :) Since you have a HP ... dont count on any OC luck

If you feel comfortable doing that ... compaq's BIOS will be slightly different from a mainstream one (even for simialr boards) so the results might be a bit wonky

but would it work, i tried it on some other of my mobo's (super socket 7) but it din't work....something about not being able to find the clock generator .pll or some shit
