I recently purchased and assembled a new pc.

AMD 3800+
1 X 1GB Corsair XMS
250GB WD 16mb cache
MSI k8n neo platinum
7900gt
NEC CD ROM
ASPIRE ATX 520W PSU

When it was first assembled it would not install windows, we tried everything besides replacing hardware (CMOS, reformating, different disks, etc.) and it still wouldn't work. So we tried putting a HDD in that already had windows installed. We just got BSOD every time we started up. We tried a different CD ROM Drive. That didn't make a difference. So now I was thinking new RAM.
I get a few sticks of new ram and then my new case arrives. So, I try booting up one more time with the old 1GB stick and I get no picture. I switch the ram, no picture, I put the old 1GB in, switch cases (re-plugging everything, and I was grounded, no magnets, magnetic screwdrivers, anything, I was very cautious) and now it is in the new case, everything is plugged in, and I still get no picture, and now it won't even throw an error code on the mobo lights.

What do i do?

it could be your graphics card is it seated properly also you will get errors if you are trying to boot from a hdd with windows on it if the windows installed was on a diffrent pc try to do a repair install from it

Update: I left my monitor on all night last night (in the power-save mode that it goes into when it gets no signal) and then I turned my pc on this morning and I got a picture, and it said that the keyboard had an error or was not plugged in. I had like 2 minutes so I had to shut it down, then I went to start it back up again, just after shutting down (like 30 seconds) and it wouldn't display a picture.

I know that this all works, it was running before when it was attempting to install windows. I will check the videocard and see if maybe the mobo is touching the case or something. I will have to postpone that work until tomorrow evening though, so expect an update by then. (Homework>computers unfortunately)
