Problems installing Windows 7...pleeeeease help

I am trying to install Windows 7 on my extra WD 74 gb ratpor. I have mounted the image of Windows 7 onto a flash drive and made it bootable. When I boot from the flash drive the windows 7 screen comes up and blah blah blah, I go to choose this raptor disk as the partition I want to install on and it gives me the error that "Setup is unable to use this partition, see setup log files for explanation" or something like that. I have this raptor set as a basic NTFS drive and it's blank therefore should work. Any ideas why it wont?

Any suggestions welcome, thank you.
 
The exact message is "setup is unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the log setup files for more information
 
Well I got the install to work, now when the computer boots up the monitor goes blank just after the windows loading screen, anyone know what that's all about?
