problems watching videos

im having a few problems

the first is that occasionally videos that work fine on all the other computers in my house on mine play with no sound

the second is that some videos appear pink only

are there ne settings i can change or could i update my video drivers or something?

yeh, did that to solve the sound issue, but to resolve the pink issue i need to access some settings cos it happens while watching videos streamed on tv-links which uses div-x player
 
If you are experiencing pink or yellow screen in Windows Media Player, you can try to re-install the WM9 codecs, or disable "overlays" in Extra --> Performace --> Advanded. (sometimes it helps).
 
Also check to see if you drivers are installed and not corrupted. If you are experiancing problems, then it might be best reinstall the audio drivers, for whatever sound device you have. You might also want to reinstall the codecs for the media player that you are using, Such as the Windows Media Player 9 codecs.

If you are still experiancing problems you may want to get the latest version of the Video Player.
