Problems with 7900gtx

I just put together my new computer (specs below). I just installed the game King Kong because it came with the graphics card. Now when I play the game it is very choppy..................

I have it set at 75mhz and 1280x1024. Everything is on high settings I think.

I have been reading around about installing the latest drivers but how do I know what and where the latest drivers are? I have gone to the nvidia and asus websites but there are many different drivers displayed........................

Could someone please tell me what drivers I need for my mobo, graphics card, sound card? Also where to get those and if I need to uninstall anything before installing the new drivers. I see all sorts of stuff about chipset drivers and utility drivers and bios and how I have to update one before the other but it has gotten me all confused.

Are there any programs or websites out there that can determine what I need to download and how to do it?

Well for you gcard, Nvidia drivers are kind like all in one, you just need to pic out the right category. Go here and choose Graphics ->GeForce (for most gcard from nvidia) ->chose you OS. And downlaod/install, thats it. Drivers for your mobo come with a CD, but you can get updates from the manufacture's website... I notice you have an ASUS, there's a update program that comes with the CD, just run that. Other Drivers you can get from a CD that comes with whatever the part, or you can go the manufacture's website.
