Problems with installing WindowsXP Home

i was installing windows xp home with the Bootdisks and after i inserted the 3rd Bootdisk it said:

File \halacpi.dll could not be loaded.
The error code is 4096

Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit.


What is wrong and how can i fix it? If i need a bootable CD instead for it, where can i get one?

The CD will be bootable unless it's pirated

well then my computer cant boot from a CD cus it doesn't boot from the CD

Slot1 mobo's should have the option. Have you made sure it's all setup in the bios? Boot order and such?

uh... i dont know how to do that...

i know i have so floppy drive is first...

oh no. i am sorry, you were right. It did work as a boot disk.
