Problems with Logitech

I bought a MX518 mouse at Best Buy ( first mistake ) a week after using the mouse the left click button is sticking and feels like it's getting weak. I tried to exchange the mouse at BB without a reciept ( didn't keep it 2nd mistake ) and of course they would not do anything about it . I sent an email to Logitech explaining my problem and got a reply they too must have a proof of purchase. To make a long story short I'm fed up with Logitech and need a decent gaming mouse. Any recommendations please? No logitech thanks

Razer Diamondback. 1600 dpi, on-the-fly adjustable sensitivity. $60. Will embarrass the Logitech.

--Of note, I normally love Logitech's products. I own their Harmony remote control, Bluetooth laptop mouse, and Driving Force Pro wheel. But their gaming mouses suck. First time I heard about one breaking, though.

Here I always use an MS optical trackball type since they take a pounding and keep on going. They may not look the most gamish but they are very reliable. Those also come in wireless models as well as usb and usb-ps/2 as seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...010290065+50001149+1083407049&name=USB+++PS/2

The only Logitech model considered here being a trackball type can be seen at http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...72&Sku=L23-6146&SRCCODE=BECOME&CMP=OTC-BECOME

So which one did I end up with that's no longer sold? :( http://www.techspot.com/reviews/hardware/trackball_explorer/
