I have a brand new MSI 880GM-P51 MoBo that am using to build a new computer with a SATA HD and a SATA CD/DVD. Problem is, the BIOS does not "see" the drives, but the funny thing is, it will detect the CD when you put a XP System disk in it and it will load it into the HD. Afterwards it will boot up regulary with XP from the HD. But when you check the BIOS, there are "NO SATA PERIPHIALS" detected. What gives? Why doesn't it detect the drives, but yet boots up from them?
