Problems with my desktop computer....any advice?

I have a Dell Dimension 4100 that I got from a friend just to have a second computer, it's in good shape and well taken care of. Anyway...

It has a 20.4 Quantum fireball HD however under "My computer" when you click on the C: icon, it only shows that it has 1.99 GB total. This confuses me. The O/S is Windows ME (which I don't like).

Anyone know what the deal is?

maybe it has files on it, just a guess

wipe the HD, put xp on it.

ME is possibly the most homosexual operating system ever. it's almost impossible to hook it into a home network unless you have a pretty decent amount of networking skill.
