Problems with my new build

So I built my new PC (in sig) and brought it to a lan party, where I played all day with no problems. Now that I have it home, I have been getting a lot of BSODs. Normally, when my PC bsods, and I try to start it up again, it doesn't display any output or beep, it restarts itself, and then doesn't do anything. I have noticed that this only happens when I have more than one stick of ram in. I have tested all of my ram modules individually, and they all seem to be working fine. The BSOD happens at random times, in safe mode, just after booting, playing a game, surfing the web. I have installed the latest drivers for my GPU and mobo. Anyone have any idea as to what the problem is?

EDIT: The first BSOD that I remember, was shortly after installing DiRT. Here are some of the errors: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (common), DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I'm using a 64 bit Vista OS.

This is pretty common in LAN rigs, it's happened to me multiple times. Re-seat your 4870, ram and double check other connections. I bet you'll find that after removing the ram or 4870 and reinstalling them, it'll work.

Also, make sure the overclocks are not enabled, just one less thing to worry about.

are you try to do any overclocking, that could be part or the whole problem. i would try to reset the entire board and cpu. also how much ram are you trying to use.

I haven't done any overclocking. I've reinstalled the BIOS before, and as stated in my sig, I'm trying to use 3 2GB DDR 1600 sticks.

just asking an obvious but sometimes overlooked question, you know your mobo can handle that. also did u do anything different after you got back from the party?

I just started installing some games. The first BSOD was after reinstalling DiRT. I also installed a USB WIFI receiver, but the problem persists with or without the USB receiver. I have also uninstalled DiRT, well sort of. I got an error when trying to uninstall the game, so I just deleted it from my HD manually.

wow, i am stumped. and you say you have reinstalled the bios, but what about resetting it? and the only other thing i can think of is backing up anything that's important and reinstalling windows.

well the few things i could suggest i have, once i go o sleep and can think i may have some more ideas. also check out youtube, i have fixed a ton of stuff and learned how to do other stuff becuase of it.

Actually for the first time I had it crash on one stick of ram, and after messing with it for a few minutes the power button does nothing. Hopefully it will boot tomorrow.

Just throwing it out there, you could have got a virus or something from a game, if you got some from your LAN party friends. Also, maybe they could have given u a virus as a joke, probs not but, just saying.

Ok, I think I deserve to be slapped across the face for this one. It turns out I forgot to plug in a 3rd cable from the PSU to the MOBO. It's strange how it worked just fine for that one day. Oh well, I'll post again if it decides to stop working again.
