Problems with Nvidia driver/Direct X

What is a VIA chipset, and how can i figure that out?

ok, what is the model of your motherboard? i think stranglehold is making reference to a compatability problem with older nvidia cards and via chipsets

It's an MSI card, i don't know exactly wut type tho? it's a fairly old model, maybe 2-3 years back

yea i reinstalled the drivers, it's now tellin me that the agp and Direct 3D test failed

With AGP text failed, leads me to belive that the chipset driver might need to be reinstalled, for the AGP driver!
