Problems with Wireless Mouse

HI, Pals.

Recently I installed a Wireless Mouse to my PC and has been encountering problems. Installation was ok but the responses from the Mouse is at times SLOW. In addition, the cursor takes a few seconds to appear after idle. It was very frustrating.

May I know what could be the possible cause and any solutions to it?

check your batteries.. is there any interference between the dock and the mouse? and since its wireless.. it is normal if it takes a second or so for the mouse cursor to respond after idle.

wireless mice suck...i have had a few ranging in "quality" and they have never worked well with me....especially in game....but any way as computerhakk said, check your batteries...aslo look to see if there is an update for the driver and if there is a 'recalibration' tool in the driver utlilty...

Also, I have no idea if this is a problem with mice, but it is with some products.

Do you have a wireless phone? if so what frevency is the phone and the mouse running on? If they are the same there is your problem.

wtb:How much did that cost you?

I want to hook up my PC to my TV with a S-video cable, and then get a wireless mouse/keybored so i can play my games from the couch on a large screen :)

Thanks. seems like it is very common to have such problems, i.e. the time lapse in the responses of the wireless mouse.

Hmmm, maybe my wireless/ cordless phone could be one of the reason that is causing the interference too. Thanks for advice.

Will do updates on the driver.

:o
