hi eveyrone. im new to this forum and thought it might be a good place to try and sort out my problems setting up wireless on my pc. i have just bought a belkin n1 router with the intention of having this connected straight to my modem and having my pc in another room . my pc has a p5k deluxe motherboard which has built in wireless with a little external aerial which finds all other peoples wireless networks in my surrounding area. ive follwed the setup for my belkin routerand all seemed to go well and i can connect to the internet when ethernet cable from pc is connected to belkin router and the to my modem but when i disconnect the ethernet cable and search for wireless networks my router cannot be found. the router at the moment is next to my pc so shouldnt be out of range or anything. im connecting through virgin if this makes any difference. any help in nsorting out this problem would be greatly appreciated as ive been trying now for about 4 days with no joy:-(

Log onto the router and make sure the wireless is active and is broadcasting the SSID.
