I'm having problems with laptop. When I download something, I have the choice of "run" of "save". If I choose run the download completes and then nothing happens. When I elect to save, download completes and then I can't locate the file just downloaded. It's causing me fits, hope someone can help. Thanks

When you click on run it will download it to a temporary file and should run it after its been downloaded. If you click on save, the next window that comes up is where the save location will be. Have you tried doing a file search for it? What operating system and what browser are you using?
I'm using windows7 and internet explorer. I have tried file searches to no avail. I have downloaded files to specific locations and still not been able to find them when I search. Not sure what is happening, because they appear to be downloading, I'm just unable to find them.
By default if you click save, it saves it to the Downloads folder. To use the Save As function, you need to click just to the right of Save where the arrow is.
