My computer had gotten a blue screen 2 days ago. So I determined it was my hard drive. It was trying to auto repair and could not start up but I was still able to access the bios.

So I had bought a new hard drive reinstalled OS and got it running again. Today I got a new screen that there were unauthorized changes in the bios and that I could not boot. I wen into the bios to ensure boot location was correct but it didn’t work.

Not sure what is wrong

Also I figured out by taking my original hard drive to someone else who plugged it in that they could still access my data.

Check your bios to see if secure boot is enabled or disabled. Also check to see what if using UEFI or legacy boot. Should be set for secure boot and UEFI.
