Processor help :(

Hello Im not sure if this is in the proper section or not, but if not mods could you please move it to the proper place .

Ok I have a really crappy Compaq 4410US PC that I want to upgrade the processor in, but Im not sure if I can use the spare one I have. I have Intel P4 2.80/512/533, would this work? Oh yeah the chipset in the PC is Intel 810E.

I dont think so, since your PC currently has a 1.3Ghz Celeron with a 100Mhz bus. You may not even have the right socket P4 for it. If it is the right socket, I still dont think it will work because of the motherboards low 100Mhz bus.
