Processor model unknown

Hi, in my system properties window it says "AMD processor model unknown". I have just built this computer and am running xp. I have installed all the automatic updates and I think I have the latest AMD driver (version: 1.3.2.0 27/05/2006) from here
I can't think what else to do, but I imagine I need to download some kind of update. Anyone help me out?
edit: my processor is an athlon 64 x2 6000 socket AM2 if it helps

I don't know if it matters, I just assumed something was wrong. Is a bit annoying though.

I've done the update driver thing and it said there were no better drives (although it did say that when I had an old driver version from about 2004 so I don't really trust it). Pretty sure i've got the latest driver, just thought there might be something else I need to download/update for it ti recognise my CPU.

Some motherboards won't recognise this as a 6000+. But it makes no difference to performance.;)

Does it show as a X2 6000 in the bios when it boots, if not you need the check the boards site to see if they have a bios update for the X2 6000. Windows gets its info. on what processor it is from the bios
