Processor/Motherboard question...

Hi, computer noobie here. I'm thinking about investing in a new processor for my eMachines T6524 Desktop. The motherboard has a 939 Socket and the processor I'm looking at ( http://www.google.com/products/cata...Socket+939&cid=1146527312342659868#ps-sellers ) says it fits into a 939 socket. My question is this: I know it fits into the 939 Socket, but does that mean I won't have any other problems, in terms of other things on my motherboard? Basically, am I sure to not run into further problems by making sure the socket is a sure fit?

Thanks for all replies!!

But you will have to upgrade your memory to DDR2. But yes you can even get a AMD or Intel Dual core and board for what that processor runs. 939s have been discontinued.
