Processor upgrade

Hi guys,
Just bought myself a new Toshiba satellite C660d-19x laptop. I entered the shop expecting to buy a different laptop on sale with 4gb ram and 2.1ghz processor. Unfortunately it was sold out but the salesman assured me he has a better laptop with 6gb ram.
When I asked him what was the processor speed he said he didnt know the exact speed but it was not quiet as good as the one I was looking for but not far off. I naively assumed it cant be that slow and bought it.
When I got back home, I discovered to my horror that the processor speed is 1.3ghz.
My question is what is the best processor my laptop supports and how do I go about changing it.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can you return the laptop? Changing the CPU would be incredibly difficult, if it is possible in that laptop at all.

Haven't checked that out yet bit i'm assuming i cant since there is no problem with the laptop itself, only that I was misguided when buying it. Also, i've being using the laptop for the past 3 days so i am guessing i cant return it.
Is the difficulty in upgrading the processor due to craftmanship or other issues?

try to return it. I looked over the specs of the laptop and as far as I can tell you can't upgrade the CPU at all. It comes as part of the motherboard.

You got misguided, return it and complain about the guy who recommended it. If he didn't know what processor was in it, thats stupidity in my opinion and he doesn't need to be selling laptops.
