Is the Pentium® D Processor 820 with Dual Core Technology (2.80GHz, 800FSB) better than the Pentium® D Processor 805 with Dual Core Technology (2.66GHz, 533FSB) and if so why? Or if it is the other way around. Thanks.

its like the differance between an AMD2800+ and an AMD 3400+. its better because its made to be better lol. so yes, the pentium D 820 is a better processor than the 805

The Pentium D 805 has a lower clock speed as well as a slower Front Side Bus speed than the 820, so the 820 is better.

As the other two members have said, the 820 is much better. But just as a note, there are much better processors out there for under $200.

thanks guys, im sure there are better ones out there for less money, however i am getting a deal through my dads work for the computer. Thats the reason i was asking.
