i need a CD burner that is able to burn computer games!! please i need one very badly !! please help me guys.
Sometimes people do it on accident, thinking that it never actually made the thread at first, they try it again. Other times people make multiple threads thinking that it will get their questions answered quicker. In either case, theres no need to over react like that.spike27z said:WTF is with this forum and people saying that liul
WOW
IT'S A COMMON MISTAKE! HAVE YOU NOT NOTICED?
it's not like he thought "oh, I think I'll make 2 identical threads at the same time in the same forum with the same everything!''

As for the original question, any current CD Burner should be able to record/burn games, if you have the right software. However this type of talk is most likely against forum rules, so I can not tell you how it can be done.
Why is everyone speaking as if games are anything different to anythign else, tis just data, nothing special, its not as if Game discs are mounted in some wierd -ass format that only £400 CD drives can burn, its just a normal CD with the game data on it, nothign special. As long as you own the current game and are creating backups for personal archive and not profiting from it at all its fine (in the UK at least, i cant speak for outside here)...thealmightyone said:Well, it double-posts WERE accidental, some people apologise for it.
Just buy a DVD burner. That's all I can say. I have no idea how to burn games, and have no need to. Google/work the rest out yourself.
How long has it been since you've got your hands on any new game? The new games use special copy protection that make it extremely hard to make copies of, and you need illegal programs that crack the protection in order to do it. There are also alot of new games that will not work on burned disks, they have special data written to the original CD that doesnt get copied when you create an ISO or copy a disc.dragon2309 said:Why is everyone speaking as if games are anything different to anythign else, tis just data, nothing special, its not as if Game discs are mounted in some wierd -ass format that only £400 CD drives can burn, its just a normal CD with the game data on it, nothign special. Well, ive already beenc orrected by geoff, so it doesnt really matter, but no, at least 2 other people classified games as being different and having no idea how to burn games...Arm_Pit said:Everyone? You mean him...
