Can anyone tell me if Avast Virus program is FREE??
I got it and it is runing but wen I go to use it or do anything with it it wants me to Register it.

Then I click ok and it tells me invelled Registration code.

Then if I click on Demo Verson tab it says 30 days left.

is it free or am I useing it wrong??

OK I got Avast Home and it wants me to regisiter online.

I am not sure how to do this I saw not registration online.
Can you givbe a link to the page thanks
 
what happens is, you download the free App, you can updat te the database either manually or auto,,,so one day you will get a notice that you need a major update, if you run the update ( NOT TO BE COFUSSED WITH VIRUS UPDATE) it turns your free version into a 30 day trial version, where at the end of the 30 days you have to pay or no av

I installed Avast and there are two Icones next to my clock One for Avast and One for Avast Recovery.

And the windows Secuity Icone is there.
And went I click it the windows security window open withe Firewall and it says Virus Program not found you may be at risk.

Do I have to turn on Avast???
 
click register and ull get instructions on how to do it and its free forever

as long as you have a blue ball with a on it in your bottom right your protected
 
one thing help

OK were do I click register do I have to open Avast?????

And there is another Ball that says Avast Recovery what is this and do I need it running in the background as well as Avast Virus??
