Program - Not answering

If you get that message often when you try to close some program, what is that a sign of? And here the other day I was working on this homework on the computer and suddenly a message appears on the screen it simply said something like this: 'En error log has been created the program will be closed immideatly' and I just lost what I had just been working on, do not know if the message sounded exactly like that. Can that be avoid and if yes how?

well it might be a bit late to tell you this but, you can still save you work when it pops up but when you want to get rid of the message it will close the program.

so i suggest when you next get this message save it by clicking the save instead of paying attention to what it wants you to do.

i know this works but unfortunatly it wont fix the prob, as i dont know how to, but this is a way round and yes, its annoying. i just finished a 7 page essay about war in iraq when it poped up and yes me to forgot to save it.

Well but if I just wait it closes down automaticlly...But on the other hand I have never tried saving it when I got that message, so I will give it a try, and thanks for that piece of advice.
 
Can you list for us what programs the error message pops up and perhaps next time you get the error write down what it says or take a screenshot of it.

So far I the programs that had to be closed have been MSN and LaTeX. I do not think there are anymore, but I am not sure. But the Problem with LaTeX, was I had just solved this problem and then it crashed and it was lost!
