Program to actually view monitor other users on my network

Well i have a home network setup in my house. I was curious if theres such a program that you can actually see what the other people on my network our on like a video?. The reason i asked is to monitor my sister. Im not sure if theres a program that exsists like this but i though i would ask the experts. please let me know.

EDIT: just use the remote assistance from your pc. you can see her monitor in real time. ^^

If by monitoring, you mean for mature content, just install some parental control software and set a pass. much easier. Beside it is to late by the time you found out what she is watching.

lol not for mature content. but one question about remote assistance, dosent i t log off the actually pc your trying to see? i do this with my computer in my garage and it logs it off when it remotely being used upstairs in my room. Is there something i need to do/change thanks
 
Use a program called VNC. you install the server on their computer and set a password. You can then use the client, type in the ip of the machine, type in the password and you connect to their system without them being any the wiser, you can take full control of their system but in your case it sounds like you just want to monitor it.

Remote assistance would work however it will ask them if they want to allow you to connect and take control of their computer, and that doesnt sound like what you want.

Just to clear this up: Remote assistance wont log them off, but as i said before will prompt them to allow you access. Remote desktop on the other hand WILL log them off, and there isnt anything that you can do about that.
 
real vnc works well if i read the question properly. you can download realvnc free. i know the enterprise edition will allow you to even reboot the system, take all updates or anything else. i don't think you can access if it suspends. very nice for supporting family and easy to set up.

with the enterprise edition you can reboot and log in or if it suspends you can log in.

You can reboot and shutdown with the ultra vnc free edition also, however you have to load a command prompt and use the shutdown -s and shutdown -r commands
