I am going to build the smallest desktop/LAN box I can. I will custom build the case myself out of plexi-glass. I don't know what mobo to use though. I was thinking about a micro ITX, but the cheapest one I could find that supports PCIe x16 is $200 (here). Micro ITX is 6.7"x6.7". The alternative is a Micro ATX (8.6"x9.6") for $40 (here). Any advice is appreciated. When I get the project started, I'll probably start a new thread w/ pics. Thanks (I'm trying to keep the cheapest budget I can

. By the way, to save space, is there a slim DVD burner that I could put in? (meant for a notebook). I found some, but are the data and power connectors the same for laptop/desktop? Thanks
