Hey, my name is Ziryab and i live in Denmark.

My computer is empty and i simply can't boot Windows Vista Ultimate DVD.

When i start my computer with the windows vista ultimate DVD it says "MGR missing. Please click CRL + ALT + DELETE to reboot" (It says the same with or without windows vista dvd in the dvd-drive)

I checked BIOS and the 1st boot device is set to my DVD drive.

That's wired.

Maybe when i removed Windows XP it didn't do it right.

Can somebody help?

Yes, my hard drive is empty.

None of these solutions are my case because my computer simply can't boot the Windows Vista installation DVD. It always just says "MGR missing. Please click CRL + ALT + DELETE"

How exactly did you remove xp?

Is there any way that you can reformat the partition? I can't remember if the Vista DVD gives you that option like the xp installation cd. In any case, if it does, I don't know if you are even able to get to that point.

I agree with StrangleHold, many motherboards ask you to press a key to boot off of CD and continue on to check the hard drive if you don't press anything within a few seconds.
